Come send a message to Fonterra's investors

Fonterra is holding its annual Shareholders’ Fund Meeting. We think its a great time to send their investors a very clear message that it’s time to divest from rainforest destruction!

Fonterra is a cooperative made up of around 8000 farmer shareholders, but ‘outside investors’ can also hold shares in Fonterra through the Shareholders’ Fund.

These investors also have influence over how Fonterra does business, and they may not be aware of the use of palm kernel on Fonterra farms.

We think they may be shocked to learn of the social and environmental concerns linked to palm kernel, including rainforest deforestation and human rights violations.

Many people from across Aotearoa are concerned about the dairy industry’s overreliance on destructive palm kernel as animal feed. If you're based in Auckland, come and share your concerns directly with Fonterra’s investors.
