Freshwater documentary screening - Rangiora

Join us for a screening of the NEW Greenpeace documentary, Something in the Water!

Details:
Date: Friday September 26th
Time: 7pm-9pm
Venue: Rangiora Trinity Methodist Church Hall

Something in the Water is a new documentary that follows the work of people from across the region who are taking action to defend fresh water.

We all should be able to safely drink the water coming out of the kitchen tap, but right now many in Canterbury can't do that without fear of getting sick from nitrate contamination.

This is a story about how everyday people are standing up for their access to safe healthy drinking water, and swimmable lakes and rivers.

These local elections are a pivotal moment for Canterbury - we have the opportunity to vote for councillors who will take action to protect the lakes, rivers, and drinking water we all depend on.

Stick around after the screening to hear from Greenpeace freshwater campaigner Will Appelbe about how you can get involved in the work to protect fresh water!
