⚡️ Will Appelbe, senior freshwater campaigner, Greenpeace Aotearoa
Over the last three years, Greenpeace Aotearoa has tested drinking water samples from thousands of households, at drop in testing events and through our mail in drinking water nitrate testing programme.
💧The results show that many parts of the country are at risk from nitrate contamination in drinking water, particularly Canterbury.
💧A growing body of scientific evidence has found links between nitrate contamination of water and a host of potential health impacts.
💧No one should have to wonder if the water from their kitchen tap could be making them or their family sick.
Join us to learn more about nitrate contamination, the health impacts, and how it can be prevented. Please RSVP to book your seat!
