Stop the Waimate incinerator!

To coincide with the waste incinerator 'information sessions', Why Waste Waimate Inc. is holding a protest and a gathering for anyone that wishes to express their feelings about the proposed project in an even less structured format.

Schedule:

★ 11.45am: Meet up outside St Patrick's Basilica, Waimate
★ 12pm: Walk down Queen St to clock tower and left to Event Centre. Bring banners!
★ 12.30 until 5pm: A gathering on Event Centre lawn. Sausage sizzle, information sharing and a peaceful, good time. Bring chairs, picnic blankets and water.
